Policies
Copies of all the Pre-School policies can be obtained from the office and are available to view. A brief synopsis of the key policies are as follows:
SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN
Olveston Pre-School is committed to ensuring the safety and protection of all children. It is our aim to work with parents to ensure that children are given the opportunity to thrive. Allegations or suspicions of anything compromising the safeguarding of a child will be dealt with promptly and appropriately.

CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS
We provide an environment where all children, including those with special educational needs, are supported to thrive and reach their full potential. We make sure that provision is made for each child’s individual needs.
DISCIPLINE
Olveston Pre-School believes that children flourish best when their personal, social and emotional needs are met and where there are clear and developmentally appropriate expectations for their behaviour. When children behave in inconsiderate ways, we help them to understand the outcomes of their action and support them in learning how to cope more appropriately.
